Kelly Girty

The graveside memorial service celebrating and honoring the life of Kelly Girty, 54, of Enid, will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday March 9, 2024, in the Enid Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Barnstormers Restaurant.

Kelly was born June 22, 1969, to Jerry and Evelyn Chew Girty in Cherokee, Oklahoma and passed from this life January 26, 2024, in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educated in Jet, Cherokee, and then Enid graduating from Enid High School with the class of 1987. He worked as a truck driver, short and long haul for various trucking companies and briefly worked in the oilfield. He was a passionate and talented drummer and loved attending live rock concerts and hanging out with friends.

He is survived by his daughter Megyn Huggins, sister Linda Jackson, and two brothers Ken Girty, and Kristopher Girty, all of Enid; numerous nieces and nephews; and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Kurtis and Karl Girty.
