Betty Semmel

The services celebrating and honoring the life of Betty Semmel, 80, of Enid will be held at 01:00 P.M. Saturday February 15, 2020 in the Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church in Woodward, Oklahoma.

Betty Lou Semmel was born November 30, 1939 to Keith and Helen Rosendale in Fargo, Oklahoma and passed from this life on February 08, 2020 surrounded by her family.

She married Cleo William Semmel on December 18, 1959 in the Church of Christ of Woodward, Oklahoma. She worked in environmental services with Hospitals until she retired in 2014. She enjoyed cake making, cake decorating, and was a wonderful seamstress. She was active with the Teen Kids at Lincoln Ave Baptist Church. Most of all she loved her family.

She is survived by her children, Sheryl Barcoe and husband Michael, of Woodward, Oklahoma, Terry Semmel and wife Kathy, of Enid, Oklahoma, and Tamela Sanders and husband Shane, of Woodward, Oklahoma, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, sisters, Sylvia Hickman, Patty Parker, Clara Hall, brother, Claude Rosendale, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Lena Young.
