The services celebrating and honoring the life of Donald “Mark” Evans, 66, of Enid, will be held privately.
Mark was born November 23, 1957, to Donald B. and Thelma Ward Evans in Blackwell, Oklahoma and passed from this life February 20, 2024, in Enid, Oklahoma.
He was raised and educated in Enid, graduating from Enid High School. After high school he worked in construction and several “odd jobs”, finally landing his career in the Oilfield. When he was no longer able to work in the oilfield he returned to working “odd jobs” and was a bouncer at City Boots. He absolutely loved animals, especially his cats.
He is survived by his brother Gary Evans and wife Janet, of Duncan, Oklahoma; two sisters, Barbara Struck and husband TW, of Wichita Falls, Texas and Sue Neal and husband Frank, of Enid; and nine nieces and nephews, Chad, Aric, Aaron, Jerry, Evan, Melanie, Michelle, Jennifer, and Lacy; and past companion Lillian.
He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Thelma Evans.
