The Memorial Services celebrating and honoring the life of Johnny “J.W.” Williamson, 69, of Enid, will be held privately.
J.W. was born November 21, 1952, to Gwendolyn Rhea and Elvin Haise in Lubbock, Texas and passed from this life June 26, 2022, in Enid, Oklahoma.
He was raised and educated in Shallowater, Texas graduating from Shallowater High School with the class of 1971. He began working in the oil field until moving to Enid in 1992 where he attended trade school and began working for Luckinbill as a heat, air, and duct work technician until he was medically unable in 2000. He married Linda Benson December 26, 2001, in Las Vegas, Nevada. In his retirement he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and bass fishing.
He is survived by his wife Linda, of the home, one daughter, Crystal Wooten and husband Trey, of Elk City, Oklahoma, one son, Michael Williamson, of Elk City, three grandsons, T.J. Wooten, Christian Williamson, and Trigger Williamson; one sister Lana Box, of Plainview, Texas and two brothers Mike and Don Williamson, both of Shallowater, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
